Life and B2S!!

Well hello there!
Life has been cray-zee!  I was completely phone and internet free for a week!!  Last week we were on a 7 day cruise! It was awesome! We went with some of our best buds and had a chance to visit Playa del Carmen (Cozumel), Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. We went zip lining, snooba diving (scuba and snorkeling mix) and then crossed the fence in Jamaica...lets just say you don't cross the fence....we came back very quickly. This was our first cruise and we loved it! Who doesn't love all you can eat 24 hours, fun activities, swimming, excursions, and beautiful crystal clear water! Needless to say we already want to plan another one.

With all that said, the trip was actually bittersweet and in hindsight blessed timing for us. We had to put our dog Buddy down the morning before we left. He had a very aggressive cancer in his stomach and was bleeding internally. We have been dealing with his health for quite a while now and it finally just got to a point that we could not find any solutions and we could not watch him get worse. Thankfully, we were blessed that he was not in bad pain. It was the hardest decision we've ever had to make. We had family there to help us come to an understanding of the situation and say goodbye to him. If anyone has a pet or pets you can relate that they become your family. They easily become your "kids". My husband had him before we got married and I quickly fell in love with Buddy too. He was on this earth for 13 precious years and each of those years more spoiled than the last :) So having to go through that the day before we left was hard to say the least. We didn't really have any time to process it. We felt God knew his timing and had to trust it. Our other baby Max is still trying to adjust too, Buddy was his best friend, so we are trying to help the transition as much as possible. Max did have amazing family to take care of him while we were gone to help keep him occupied as well as our other little baby Socrates. I know it will take some time to get acquainted with not having him around and seeing his sweet face and human-like personality, but prayers from our family and friends has sure helped!

Now that I am back and  it is already almost mid August (eeeek) time to hit the panic mode button; I finally got to go to the school today and at least put my furniture out, and we all know that is the most important part and takes a whole day if not more devoted to getting the feng shui just right!
I will post "after" pictures once everything is OCDivalicious ..or something like that ha!

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
